The First Breath of the Morning

the slight dampness of the dew drops on the leaves,

with the promise of a perfect day...

i open my eyes and took in the cloudless sky

this is going to be one of those days where everything seems so right..

Home... strange enough, i really missed it... wanna be home, where i feel totally at peace with myself..

training is taking over my life again... soon it will be the same lifeless schedule.. not that i hate it...i love it in a way.. its necessary... but it means less time to hang out with frens... will that distance me from my frens?
training really exhuast me both mentally and physically....

Shit happens

One breezy night i was chatting away happily with veron, laughing and bitching abt stuff.
suddenly... i felt a presence behind me and out of instinct i turn around.

ARUGH!!!!!!
i saw this looming figure flondlin his manhood right in front of me with his pants down... Horrors...
But instead of the typical high pitch screams females normally emit, i cooly whipped out my Nokia 7610 and called the pigs...
but damn the pigs, by the time they got there i could have been raped and killed..

they took 20mins to arrive...
The irony, when they declare in their posters that we slp sound becoz of them...

Holidays.... the period of time when you r suppose to be enjoying and wishing that it'll last forever....

but... it doesnt feel so to me.....

this hols feels weird... or rather its me....
i dun feel happy...... why not? i dun noe...

i feel really suffocated....

it feels like tonnes and tonnes of cotton are falling on me and i am drowning under it... trying to gasp for air, fighting the cottons pushing them aside to get the sweet air of life... but.. when i finally gulp in the precious lungful of air , it didnt feel like a relief... it feels like i've breathed in a lungful of exhuast fumes instead..

julie, one of the rare person that i met who shares my spirit of implusiveness, living for the moment, its such a regretable thing that i din get to know her that well during the whole term time....

Wana Get Away...

Looking thru all my Vacation pictures juz makes me wanna get away for another trip...
i hear the call of a vacation calling out to me...
but tickets in dec is really too expensive....
Ppl might think that i'm crazy to want to go on another trip when i juz came back from one recently
but how can i ever describe to them the exhilaration of a trip overseas without plans..
the experience of being out of our comfort zone..
the thrill of trying out new things
the release from the hectic n stressful lifestyle of singapore...
they would never understand how i feel till they experience it themselves...
even so it might not be the same coz every experience is a unique one..

when will i ever get out of singapore and its mudane life...

to do wat i wanna do, to live a life that i truly wan to and be the person i really am without all the constraints of this conforming society??

Stop! dun bother telling me that i am too idealistic...
How can there ever be the existence of your dreams in reality if you never dare to dream and work towards it??

anyway went to chris birthday at O bar... was kinda boring coz the music n the place sucks plus the fact that i am so tired....
but becoz it's for chris that i stayed..

today was fun at sentosa... playing ultimate frisbee n touch rugby was way cool...
plus eating watermelon n doritos with salsa sauce... yummy!!
great day for games...

bonus came in but after setting aside money for rent , paying debts n topping up the accounts not really left with that much.. =|
sad huh...

payday is gonna be in 2 more days but it seems like forever..... =(
and after paying for hall fees i am so gonna be low again...
sad.....

all the french ppl r gone.. clement, nico, julie.. all r back in france...
really miss them.. hall life is not gonna be the same without them esp clement!! the lobster =p...
and not seeing julie is sad too...

Reflections on Phuket

The decision to go backpacking in phuket was a spontaneous and crazy one...
julie n me decided to go phuket on 26th noon, got the tickets went to the airport in the night n spend the night there =p

n waalaa!! 27th morning we r there... =)

it was really huge!! findin our way there..=p
and both of us attract shit n shit happens..=p
julie nearly got ran over by a cab in changi airport n i nearly crashed into a van while trying to ride a scooter for the 1st time in my life..=p hahaha all on the 1st day!!!
we stop at patong beach a few days, beautiful beach n nice shopping but we both came to the conclusion that we din like it that much coz it seems to exist solely for westerners, hagen darz, mac, starbucks... come on, its thailand not USA ya noe...

but Karon beach was really cool.. the waves were huge n ppl at karon were much more friendlier... from MamA from the guest house, "Our House", to X and his Ugly friend who brought us around on scooters... it was really fun....
really glad to meet X though i suspect that he's much younger than the age he told mi..
oh yah one of the highlight of the trip was the white water rafting... totally fun n huge!!!
we did level 4!!!!
don n alex the guides were really nice ppl who went out of their way to make things fun n enjoyable for us...
and the jump from the cliff( abt 6-7m) into the waterfall was so exhilarating...

really enjoyed myself in the trip esp with julie who's so crazy like me...

really missed her now that she's on her way back to france...

everytime i go back to thailand it juz strengthen my resolve to work in thailand..
i love the country so much that it really feels like home..
even more homely than singapore... the irony...
